A fabulous painter I am not. However, some cels just have to be painted! This Ichigo in his Shinigami robes is taken from a hanken sketch (the owner of which approved my attempt at art because it was for such a good cause!) As I write, Ichigo is on his way to his number-one fan, known as Aernath (or "Perv-Chan") because she is, quite simply, the greatest.

Of note here is the fact that no, the sword is not horribly painted. (Well, it might be, but not because of what you're looking at! :P )The swirls and lines you see are the scanner's light reflecting off the metallic paint I used for the sword (because it's, well - metal!). Ichigo's eyes, belt buckle and the scrollwork in the hilt are also done with metallic paint. It's a really interesting effect!
