Yes, Jiras is part fox. Don't laugh--at least he's not a walking fish (that would be Noonsa). Jiras tries desperately to be one of the bad guys, forever inventing better and more efficient ways to blow stuff up. But like many of the Slayers baddies, Jiras is more complicated than he looks; he does the wrong things for the right reasons.
