Cornet, sister to the Queen's chief cleric, Clary, was raised in Queen Horn's household, almost as though she were the princess. She's not especially happy when Flute turns up as the true Princess. But like her companion Trom, she will fight tooth and nail to protect Horn and her kingdom from the demons.
