Karen starts out as just a girl who helps raise Teppei. She ends up being a much more considerable force in the story than anyone expects! Here she is fighting the "improved" Metalface. Yes, his face is metal, on the side we don't see. What we can see is the machine arm/weapon the Machine Emperor gave him.
