I still can't believe I bought a fan-made cel from Japan, but here he is. Kenshin, in all of his intense splendor. It's hard to tell from the scan, but those eyes are light lavender and simply gorgeous.

The original watercolor background is the perfect touch, even if it is size huge and the cel a normal sized piece. Somehow, to me it says "here's the effects of the flames of war" -- a flame-haired young man whose entire soul was torn right down the middle.
