Right after Jinpu blows apart the pentagram sealing the healing spring with his feng shui powers, Kenshin has to defeat several attackers. But just as it seems that things are taken care of, he turns to the right and is greeted by a huge explosion. It seems that chi, when not flowing in a straight line, can become an evil weapon. What I love about this cel is not the rather sad plotline it comes from, but the far more masculine and mature way Kenshin was rendered in the last few episodes. Whereas early on in the series he really did seem like his historical inspiration, who could be mistaken for female, there's no doubt at the end that he's a very strong man.
