While Sanosuke is in the city destroying feng shui markers, Kenshin and Jinpu have strong-armed their way down a mining tunnel toward a spring. And why? The waters therein should be enough to heal Kaoru, who's been hit by a magic spell that is causing her body to absorb evil chi from the surrounding area.

So, the story is pretty weak here at the end of the TV series, and has no resemblance whatsoever to anything going on in the manga. There's still some great art in these last few episodes, and this is a piece of it!
