What a delight to find this third cel from the OVA! After 20 years, things like cels tend to disappear from circulation. This character, Doris, grabbed my imagination when I read the first Vampire Hunter D novel. She's been fed upon by the Count, but isn't going to take any static from anyone about it, even if they do want to lock her up for being a risk. In fact, I probably wouldn't have even watched the older movie if not for this feisty character. I'm sure glad I did! What a shame that Doris and her gorgeous sketch have developed such a strong bond after so long... there's just not a prayer of getting them apart!
