Shinomori Aoshi, Okashira (Commander) of the Oniwabanshu, patiently explains to a moneygrubbing, amoral idiot exactly WHY he and his fellow ninjas are trying to get Kenshin. No, it's not for money. They lost the chance to fight him during the Bakumatsu, and they're determined to prove themselves the strongest.

I never cared much for Aoshi, but he is easy on the eyes. He's also another of those characters who demonstrates how hard it is to move through a culture-change, no matter how powerful you may think you are.
