No anime worth its salt is without the obligatory stopover at an onsen, and Ruroni Kenshin has a couple. In this one - basically a cute little throwaway episode - a budding artist is utterly smitten with Kaoru's beauty and has declared to Sanosuke that he's in love with her. Sano, joker that he is, promises yon artist that if he can land a blow on Kenshin by the end of the day, he, Sano, will personally play matchmaker.

Kenshin, as usual oblivious to all things involving females and romance, is here happily pulling domestic duty again, unaware that he's about to be attacked by a fearsome art student!
