One of Queen Horn's advisors is Percuss. This character somehow manages to be the epitome of loyal retainer (think Alfred from "Batman") without being a one-dimensional stereotype. His dilemma is that he wishes profoundly for Hamel to rise above his destiny while knowing at a deep level that fate is fate.
