There are dozens of settei of really interesting artifacts in this group, but I decided to limit myself to scanning Mugen's wonderful reinforced battle-sandals! At first I wondered why a guy who slings a sword would wear these traditional shoes (wouldn't he tend to get stuck in sand?) but they -- and his feet -- are a significant part of his fighting style. Which is nothing if not a mish-mash, or "champloo," of moves. You can easily see that if not for these custom shoes we'd be calling him "Stumpy" or some such thing.
