Kenshin is really angry as he resheathes his sakabato. He's just taken care of -- seriously taken care of -- Kanryu and his Gattling gun and come this close to going full-bore Battousai on him. What's really gotten to Kenshin is the idea of Kanryu's using people and drugs to line his own pockets, to say nothing of wiping out most of the Oniwaban with a modern weapon when he is too much of a weakling to stand on his own. Kenshin's ferocity in this episode is stunning, as we see that no, he really is not at all happy about the ways in which some are using the changes in society to their personal profit.
