Kantaro, the misunderstood folklorist who has the gift of being able to see spirits. Haruka, the "demon-eating ogre" who Kantaro searched for and cared about from his childhood on. The relationship between these two total misfits trying to understand themselves and their place in the world makes for a fabulous story which, sadly, did not have a chance to get really fleshed out in the anime. It was a good show, but could have been a great show with more time. However, this didn't stop me from loving the two main characters to pieces and being thrilled to own a piece of the gorgeous artwork from the show!
