Jaaken is the most perfect portrayal of a sycophant ever. He's a youkai, and has a fair amount of power of his own (to say nothing of this staff of his that has the ability to shoot flames) but he is utterly in awe of Sesshomaru and follows him around like a puppy. His continual "SesshOOOOmaru-Sama!" and that stupid fez are positively teeth-grating, and yet he manages to be somehow endearing anyway. He also takes care of Rin, the human girl who follows Sesshomaru, in spite of being somewhat jealous of her. Sometimes he even helps out Inuyasha and gang when the situation requires.
